I am a registered clinical herbalist and registered massage therapist.

I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2006 with an Honours B.A. in Medical Anthropology.

My interests in health, community, and plants led me to various work and volunteer opportunities in San Andres, Guatemala, and Shawnigan Lake, BC, and inspired me to enroll at the Living Earth School of Herbal Medicine in 2008 where I learned about harvesting and processing local plants into medicines for restoring the body's natural healing processes.  I work primarily with teas, tinctures - alcohol extracts of plants - and salves.  I am a registered herbalist through the Ontario Herbalists Association.

I continue to discover and explore the healing qualities of local plants and thrive in the empowerment of harvesting my own medicines.

The key point that I took away from my studies is that most of our health conditions are caused by stress in the body; so my next desire was to help people physically eliminate stress in order to address the root cause of physical conditions.  In 2011 I enrolled in Kikkawa College's 2200-hour massage therapy program and graduated with honours in June 2013.  I am licensed through the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario.

I have been living and working in Deep River since June 2014.
